Sue Tanners' 15 minutes of fameA work in progress....Well after years of nagging from my web designer husband he has finally persuaded me to have a web page of my own. I think he only wants to train me so I can help keep the kids pages updated when he eventually gets round to designing them. Here comes the boring bit.. A little bit of historyI'm the youngest child of three and the only girl. My father died when I was 10. I left school at 16 and was employed as a live-in nanny to a beautiful little baby called Anita whose parents were Malaysian. Her mum was a nurse and her dad was a doctor. There was talk of visits to Malaysia which my mum did not agree with so I had to resign and ended up getting an office job. Been working in an office enviroment ever since, fell into the service/helpdesk line and it soon became apparent that I had a knack for it. Most jobs have been great and I've enjoyed the service side and the knowledge that what I do and achieve makes someone elses life/job easier, better. I married in my mid twenties and had a son called Kyle. The marriage ended. During this time I had to change jobs and got a position working for a company where I met my wonderful toyboy husband (is this enough!) who has made my life complete (oh god do I really have to keep this in? can I just say husband?) and there's not a day goes by...Obvioiusly not... We married in 2000 in Charlwood nr Gatwick and it was fabulous thoroughly enjoyed the day. We went to Antigua for our honeymoon where hubby taught me to snorkel. We had a beautiful baby girl called Katiya in 2001. And a gorgeous baby boy called Archer in 2005, hence the pregnancy diary For relaxation I read mainly true life crime novels, watch formula one motor racing, cannot believe that Schumacher has resigned, and do on line surveys YouGov Survey is a really good one and not one that needs you to do 15-25 minutes surveys all the time. |
